General information

Listi Beach is located 69 km southeast of Heraklion Town, between Kastri and Tsoutsouras. It’s a lovely shore with crystal-clear, light blue waters, surrounded by large rocks full of greenery. Despite being small and not organized, it still attracts many visitors every summer.

The shore is covered in soft, gray sand, and there are no umbrellas or sunbeds on it. The water is not too shallow, and the seabed is also sandy, making it perfect for diving and snorkeling. The most notable element of this beach is the large rocks that can be found on the coast and in the water. The beach was named after one of them, the rock of Listis (thief), which has several caves on its surface. A very scary thief used to live inside, according to the local myth.
