Kokkinos Pyrgos Heraklion: The beach Kokkinos Pyrgos is located 67 km south west of Heraklion Town and close to Tymbaki village. This small sandy beach is frequently affected by the strong winds known as meltemia. Only a few people arrive here during these days.

In close distance to Kokkinos Pyrgos, there are some fish taverns and rooms to rent. Next to the beach, there is a small protected port for fishing boats to moor and repair.
