General information

Aposelemis Beach is a large, sandy beach located at the end of the river of the same name, although it doesn’t meet the sea by virtue of this sandy shore.

Most of the beach is unorganized, but a beach bar does exist on the eastern end, and a watersports facility graces the other end, which also offers sunbeds and other amenities.

The main attraction here, however, is the wildlife refuge formed around the river, where lush vegetation forms a habitat that houses many species of both local and migratory birds, as well as fish and turtles.
