General Description

This is an escorted privileged private walking tour, where you will visit a few authentic spots in Chania Old Town, to talk with local people and taste traditional Cretan products and wine.

You get the chance to see the locals life is and to feel as a local for a few hours. Walking around the Old Town of Chania you will see more than a dozen carefully selected sites. The site sellection includes Jewish, Turkish, Greek, Venetian and Christian monuments.

Your English speaking escort will guide you along the picturesque narrow streets and to special spots to take some spectacular photos while presenting the most famous sights and monuments to you. Allong your walking tour you will make frequent stops to talk with locals and have a sampling of local products and beverages such as, "koulouri", “Kalitsounia”, “loukoumades”, “graviera”, “mizithra”, “ntakos”, “alatsolies”, “tsakistes”, “tsikoudia”, fresh tomatoes and local Cretan honey!

Towards the end of the tour will have the chance of Cretan wine tasting (4 different Cretan wine), a taste that Cretans have been producing for over 4.000 years.
