Reformation of old neighborhoods

The south part of the neighborhood Koum Kapi in the town of Chania, Crete, is being reformed by the municipality authorities. As announced by the major Kiriakos Vivrvidakis, all the neighborhoods of the town will gradually change.
The reformation work has the budget of 2,100,000 Euro and apart from paving and pedestrianization it also includes tree planting and electric lighting. The plan of the Municipality is the total change of the picture in many areas of Chania town.
Till the end of this year, the operations in the block between the streets Andrea Papandreou, Heroon Polytechneiou, Eleftheriou Venizelou and Korae will be completed.
