Zorbas Hotel in Stavros, Chania

This hotel complex of 53 apartments and studios is situated on the beach of the beautiful Akrotiri peninsula, close to the setting of the famous movie, Zorba The Greek. It is inside thirty thousand square meters of private land.
The impressive, large swimming pool and surrounding deck area are about 1000 sq.m. There are deck chairs and umbrellas where guests can enjoy the sunshine. Pool snack bar serves excellent home made traditional local dishes, breakfast, snacks and drinks. The deck area of the swimming pool gives the opportunity to spent fantastic evenings watching dusk fall over the Cretan Sea. Our friendly service ensures a relaxing experience.

Accommodation
All of the studios and apartments are level with the ground and have a private entrance. They are situated by the sandy beach, most of them offering panoramic sea and mountain views and designed in the traditional Cretan style with big verandas covered with ceramic tiles. All of them offer privacy and are fully equipped with a kitchenette, refrigerator, air conditioning unit, TV, safe box, microwave, hairdryer, clothes iron and have their own full size bathrooms. The apartments also have a fireplace which is used during the winter; firewood is available at very low rates during the winter period. All the rooms are within one or two minutes from a sandy beach, clean and safe for children. It is equipped with free sun-beds and umbrellas and it is perfect for water sports. There are also some others rocky and sandy beaches just a second stroll from the rooms.

Undoubtedly, what remains unforgettable is the wide, unobstructed view of sea all the way to the horizon setting the scene for picturesque sunsets which can be enjoyed from the privacy of each room's covered veranda.
Common facilities of the hotel include a tennis court, outdoor chessboard, bicycling, fishing, and sea-water swimming pool for adults and a separate one for children. There is also the availability of internet wireless in the entire hotel complex. Free public parking area is also available in the hotel.
Children's areas with huge playgrounds also come surrounded by gardens, trees, unique herbs and flowers native to the island of Crete. As children play, guests can look out over the sea as they relax beside the Zorbas' outdoor swimming pool (operates from early May until the middle of October; subject to weather conditions).
