Galaxy is a famous fish restaurant that was first initiated in 1980 as a family business. It is located close to the beach of Paleochora, southern Chania, offering lovely views at the Libyan Sea.

The restaurant has an indoor and an outdoor dining area. The indoor area has been elegantly designed in a white and blue scheme, while the outside area offers a spectacular view of the sea. The traditional Cretan cuisine offers a surprising choice of seafood, great appetizers and other local delicacies.

The fish menu changes on a daily basis according to the fisherman's catch. The salads are one of the advantages of this restaurant, ideal for the vegetarians. The restaurant opens daily for lunch and closes late at night.
