It was founded in 2020, when its owner, an experienced sommelier, felt the desire to express and share his culinary ideas. There is a selection of salads and appetizers, but the premium beef cuts, cooked in a charcoal oven, is what Alibertos is all about. Only high-quality meat is served with neat and creative plating, while pork and chicken alternatives are also available. The walk-in wine cellar of the restaurant is very impressive as it includes 500 different wine labels from all over the world, of course including local ones. The hosts make sure that there are exceptional options for every taste that also complement each dish.
The establishment offers a few additional services, as well. Groups can book a private chef session, where experts will cook breakfast, dinner and lunch with hand-picked ingredients based on personal preferences. Guests can choose between different styles, including Cretan, Greek BBQ and seafood menus to create a personalized experience. In addition, cooking lessons are hosted. Participants have the opportunity to learn how to make a 5-dish traditional Cretan meal with this fun, interactive lesson.
