Chania Souda Beach

Located just 7 km from Chania Town, Souda is a lovely resort from where you can set off on pleasant short excursions. With its shallow blue waters and fine golden sand, the main beach of Souda is ideal for swimming. It is partly organized, offering facilities like umbrellas and showers. Nice fish taverns are also available close by.

Many tourist facilities can be found in the wider area as it is quite popular both with Greeks and with travelers from every part of the world. Souda has a large and safe port that is used as a major naval base.
