Attica products

Information about the local Products of Attica, in Greece but also information about local products in Athens: The peninsula of Attica is overpopulated and does not have large plains to cultivate. Only limited land and small gardens can be found on the northern side of Attica, particularly Marathon, where fruits and vegetables are usually cultivated.

The most famous Attica products, however, is the wine of Mesogia, a region of eastern Attica with many vineyards and wineries. Some of these wineries are open to the public on scheduled visits.

But in all cases, all kinds of products can be found in Athens, which are import from various regions and Greek islands: Olives and olive oil, honey, wine, alcohol, vinegar, herbs, spices, carpets, leather and more.
