Three days tour to Delphi and Meteora, from Athens

General Description
Day 1:
We depart from Athens and drive through the beautiful Thebes, Levadia, and Arachova.
We arrive in Delphi, the Navel of the Earth as it was also known as in antiquity, and visit the Temple of Apollo, the Ancient Theatre, the Treasury of the Athenians, and the Archaeological Museum.
In the afternoon you are free to explore the modern village of Delphi and relax.
Dinner and overnight in Delphi.
Day 2:
The morning is free. We leave Delphi and drive through Central Greece and Lamia to Kalambaka, a lovely town perched on the foot of the Meteora rock complex.
Dinner and overnight at Kalambaka.
Day 3:
In the morning, we visit Meteora and the Byzantine monasteries on top of the huge granite rocks that dot the area.
We return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae (brief stop at the Monument of Leonidas) and arrive in Athens early in the evening.

Note:
For the visit to Meteora Monasteries, ladies need to wear a long skirt and gentlemen long trousers. Those who stay on the coast will depart for their hotels around 19.30.
Transportation and guides:
We use modern buses for transportation. Buses are constantly upgraded in order to comply with the latest comfort standards. Smoking is not allowed on the buses. Every tour has its own professional lecturer guides. As for the drivers, they have years of experience on routes all over Greece.
