Athens Hiking

The Mountain of Parnitha is located at the northern part of the city and is a place of exquisite natural beauty. For those who love mesmerising views but do not wish to spend hours exercising, there are intown hills that in less than an hour offer a great hiking experience. The Lycabettus and Philopappos Hill (accessible from the downtown regions of Kolonaki and Thissio respectively) offer routes of medium difficulty as well as incredible views to the city and sea that unfold before your eyes.
