Athens The Ellinikon Experience Park

Located around 45 minutes away from the city center of Athens, the recently established Ellinikon Experience Park replaced the abandoned facilities of the old airport of Athens to offer a breath of fresh air in the heart of the city, in the area of Elliniko.

It is one of the biggest urban renewal projects implemented in Athens, and it is designed to become a cultural center a few steps away from the coastline of Athens.

The park’s modern facilities offer a wide variety of activities for visitors of every age; Mediterranean gardens, fountains, shops, playgrounds for children and outdoor fitness facilities are currently available and the park can be approached by car, taxi or public transport.

Entrance is free for everyone and during the winter months, the park will be open 7 days a week, including national holidays, from 17:00 to 22:00.
