The famous Canadian newspaper Toronto Star recently ranked the restaurant of the new Acropolis Museum among the top 5 museum restaurants in the world.
As the newspaper mentions, the restaurant of the Acropolis Museum is conveniently located only 300 meters from the Holy Rock of the Acropolis, making it an ideal place to head to after a long day of exploring the archaeological sites of the city. Furthermore, it is noted that the restaurant has a seasonally updated menu based on traditional Greek cuisine and provides panoramic, unobstructed views of the Acropolis, which can also be admired at nighttime on Fridays, when the restaurant remains open until midnight.
The list with the best museum restaurants in the world is completed with the restaurants of the Musee d' Orsay in Paris (first place), the Museum of Modern Art-MoMA in New York (second), the restaurant cafe of Chihuly Garden and Glass in Seattle (third) and the bar of County Museum of Art in Los Angeles (fourth).
