The exhibition of 2008 is dedicated to the memory of the Steering Committee president, Mrs. Merry Dimitropoulou, who passed away last March.
38 exhibitors and one international organization, NATO, participate to the International Exhibition. More than 500 defending material industries will be present at the event. The presence of the domestic defending industries will lodge an area of 5,500 square meters at the exhibition center, raised per 35% compared to the anterior exhibition of 2006.
For the first time this year, the USA Defense Ministry will be taking part in the international exhibition with 54 industries.
The participations of Russia, Germany, France, England and Italy will be also worth noticing.
In the area of static exhibits, 31 vehicles from 14 countries' industries and six simulators from the corresponding countries will be on display. Finally, an air show by the French acrobatic team Patrouille de France has been programmed for the 8th of October in Faliro Bay, Athens.
