Swing Festival in Monastiraki

The first Swing Festival of Athens is a fact. Elculture and Fischer Beer invite the Athenians in a special dancing experience. The only things you need to have with you are the right dance shoes and some moves. The festival will take place in Avissinias square, in the heart of the city, close to Monastiraki, on Wednesday, July 6th and Thursday, July 7th. The festival will host popular bands from the native Swing music stage. Black Jack feat. Nastazia, Evi Siamanda & Sexteto, Penny & the Swingin Cats and The Swing Shoes will be some of the artists who will travel you back to America of the 1930s. The festival will also include DJ sets and dance shows. The audience will have the chance to attend free dance workshops (social dance). The entrance to the festival is free.
