Poor Things: The Costumes Exhibition

After being on display at the Barbican Centre in London, the fascinating exhibition Poor Things: The Costumes makes its next stop at the Benaki Museum in Athens between the 12th of June and the 29th of September 2024.

The exhibition gives visitors the opportunity to see up close 12 of the original handmade costumes that won costume designer Holly Waddington an Oscar and a BAFTA award. Each costume is a masterpiece, ingeniously giving Victorian era clothing a modern twist in keeping with Yorgos Lanthimos’ film’s unconventional tone.
