May 17, 2018 — May 20, 2018 • Category: Events

Platforms Project is an independent art fair, aiming to present the independent artistic scene to the public, through a program of lectures, videos and performances by independent artistic groups.
This event will take place from May 17th to May 20th at the “Nikos Kessanlis” Exhibition Hall of the Athens School of Fine Arts. Platforms Project 2018 is directed by Michalis Argirou and Artemis Potamianou, who is also the artistic director of this year’s event.
It’s the sixth year that Platforms Project is presented. Its goal is to present the work of young independent artists, aiming to find solutions to the contemporary fine art questions. After the big success of the “Platform Project - Independent Art Fair 2017”, which featured 42 platforms from 17 countries and had thousands of visitors, Platform Project 2018 will be an even bigger event. More specifically, it will feature 57 platforms from 17 countries, 41 cities, presenting the work of 600 artists.
Together with the exhibition, many workshops, presentations, performances and workshops will take place, inviting the public to explore the independent art scene. For more more information visit: platformsproject.com
