Photo exhibition about Melina Mercouri

The year 2014 marks the 20th anniversary since the death of the world famous Greek actress Melina Mercouri. In commemoration of that event, on March 4, 2014 the Melina Mercouri Foundation is combining its annual Theater Awards with a photo exhibition entitled Melina Mercouri Street.

This photographic exhibition will highlight the vibrant personality of Melina Mercouri, the international side of her work, and the development of her career in theatre, cinema, and politics. The exhibition will be presented at the Benaki Museum in Athens and will last until May 25th, 2014.
