Journey to human body in Technopolis

The exhibition that has raised a lot of reactions all over the world has now come to Athens, after its long journey from Las Vegas to Sao Paolo and from Barcelona to Prague. "The journey to the human body" is an exhibition different from the others. It includes 217 exhibits (17 entire bodies and 200 separate organs), which come from the laboratories of the Medical University Dalian Plastination of China and belong to people who were body donators or whose dead body was never requested.
Bones and vital organs in action (e.g while throwing a ball) as well as the damages that excessive food, smoking and lack of exercise are be shown through the exhibits. While some say that this exhibition is highly educative, others critisize it for being too rough. It starts from February 7th till the 10th of May 2009, at the Technopolis, Gazi.
