The Greek mountains Olympus and Taigetos and the mountain chain of Pindos are some amongĀ  the "holy" mountains whose paintings will be presented in an exhibition that will take place in the Metro Station of Syntagma square. The painter Efthimios Varlamis got inspired from the imposing mountains of Greece and calls them "symbols of hope, freedom and pride". His works will be published all together in an album entitled The mountains of my homeland. In the preface of his album, he mentions that these uninhabited mountains are "our strange homeland, unknown to land planning and statistics". The exhibition in Syntagma Metro Station will be inaugurated on March 14th in the evening and will be open daily from 10.30 a.m. to 08.30 p.m. till March 28th.
