“Emotions” Exhibition

The Acropolis museum in collaboration with Onassis Foundation are presenting the successful “Emotions” exhibition that is held at the former. “Emotions” exhibition consists of exhibits from around the world that are displayed in Athens for the first time.At the exhibition, red colour is used symbolically - vertical vinyl banners in different shades of red represent the various range of emotions.
There are five main section in the exhibition: "The Art of Emotions - Emotions in Art", "The Spaces of Emotions", which is divided to five subsections: "Private space", "The Battlefield", "Public space", "Sacred spaces" and "The place of Death", "Conflicting Emotions", "Uncontrolled Emotions" and "Medea".
During the exhibition 11 videos are shown along with the exhibits and tell the myths behind them.
Plus: Every weekend, visitors have the chance to enjoy the exhibition with Museum Archaeologist - Host.
