Elles art exhibition at Frissiras Museum

Once more, the Frissiras Museum hosts an impressive exhibition at the building of Monis Asteriou str 3, in Plaka Athens. This exhibition is entitled Elles and is an extended tribute to the European women painters of the second half of the 20th century. The pieces of the exhibition come from the collections of Frissiras Museum and includes works of 67 female artists. With modern style and special view, the works show how these female artists would see the world and daily life.
In this way, the museum wants to pay homage to the sex that has contributed silently but very decisively in formating contemporary art. Although the official inauguration is on December 9th, the exhibition has already opened to vsitors and will last until June 30th, 2016.
