Dodona: the oracle of sounds at Acropolis Museum
“Dodona: the oracle of sounds” is part of the temporary exhibitions hosted by the Acropolis Museum and aims to travel the visitors to the mystifying atmosphere of the Dodona oracle. A place of supreme historical importance, Dodona oracle constituted the oldest oracle of ancient Greece, as well was a meeting point for the worship of Zeus and the cult of Mother Earth in the land of Epirus. Visitors will have the opportunity to admire artefacts from the bronze era, as well as partake in guided tours where archeologists can revive through their narration the atmosphere of the sanctuary.
