Dionysia Wine Festival 2011

More than 120 wine makers from Greece and abroad will participate in the Dionysia Wine Festival 2011 that will take place this weekend, February 12th and 13th, in Athens. This festival, that has been a major wine event in Greece since its establishment in 2005, guide visitors around the magical world of wine. This year, despite the economical crisis, Dionysia is expected to attract a large number of people with the same passion for wine.

The festival will take place once more in Zappeion Megaron, in the heart of Athens. The entrance will be from the front gate of Zappeion, where visitors can also get their tickets. Along with the ticket, that is valid for both days of the festival, visitors will get a detailed catalogues with all exhibitors and wines on display and a commemorative glass for wine tasting. More than 1,000 wines will be on display and can be tasted in Dionysia Wine Festival.
