Dionysia Festival 2009

160 winemakers from all over Greece and abroad will be presenting their best wines this weekend in Zapeion Megaron, close to Syntagma, Athens. More than 1,000 wines will be exhibited and you can taste all of them! Popular wine varieties, like xinomavro, asyrtiko and mavrodafni, are presented. Also try the new type of retsina, the traditional Greek wine, with a more elegant taste.
The exhibition will be held in the renovated exhibition hall of the impressive Zappeion Megaron. At the entrance, you will be given a badge "Friend of Wine" that allows you to visit the exhibition as many times as you want, a list with the wines and a tasting glass with the sign of Dionysia Festival.
Entrance cost: 15 euros
Working hours: Friday February 20th: 2 pm - 10 pm Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd February: 12 pm - 8 pm
