Comics Festival with famous heroes

More than 5,000 visitors visited last year Comicdom Con Athens, the festival of comics. This festival will be organized again next month in the building of the Greek American Union, in the centre of Athens. Many heroes, super heroes and super villains will be presented in Hatzikyriakos-Gkikas Gallery of the Union on April 11th and 12th. Famous creators of these heroes have been invited, such as Marv Wolfman (creator of Spiderman, Blade, Transformers and Teen Titans) and Barry Kitson, who will discuss with the public on April 11th, 3 p.m. in the Theatre of the Union, about their heroes, villains and their secrets. The festival will also include an exhibition with old and modern comic books and a workshop for children, where they can learn about how to draw a comic story and write the script. Awards will be given to the children by Greek comic designers. Entrance to the Comics Festival is free.
