Comicdom Con Athens 2016 in April

Comicdom Con Athens 2016 takes place from April 15th to 17th, 2016, organized by the non-profit organization Comicdom Press and the Hellenic American Union. Until last year, the festival was taking place at the building of the Hellenic American Union while this year it has expanded with two new venues, the French Institute of Greece and the City of Athens Cultural Centre.

Apart from local artists, many international guests will also exhibit and offer workshops in the premises of Comicdom Con Athens. International guests include: the British Charlie Adlard, artist of The Walking Dead; the French Ted Benoit, collaborator of Metal Hurlant and Blake&Mortimer artist; the Israeli cartoonist and animator Mysh, foreign manga creators and more.

The programme of Comicdom Con Athens 2016 includes comics exhibition, film screenings, bazaar of Greek comic shops and publishers, workshops for script writing and illustrating, events for children, the Greek Comic Awards and the popular Comicdom Cosplay contest. Admission is free.
