Chicago the Musical

The multi-awarded Chicago, the longest-running musical in the history of Broadway, is coming to the Christmas Theater in Athens for 5 unique performances between the 18th and the 20th of October! Over the course of these three days, audiences will have the chance to enjoy the original Broadway production, featuring a cast of charismatic performers selected among the very elite of Broadway and the West End.

This dazzling show takes us back to the decadence of the 1920s, narrating a captivating tale of crime, passion and fame that still strikes a chord with contemporary audiences. It is the story of two women, Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly, who have both murdered their lovers and are desperate to avoid conviction. To do this, they resort to Chicago’s wiliest lawyer, Billy Flynn, vying among themselves for the public’s attention.

Boasting choreographies by the legendary Bob Fosse and music by John Kander and Fred Ebb, the show includes such emblematic songs as Razzle Dazzle, Cell Block Tango and All that Jazz, making for a not-to-be-missed experience!
