The exciting event of Athens Gastronomy Days is here for the third time to ensure a delightful journey through the delicate Greek and international cuisine. The event recounts the contemporary culture of flavours, highlighting central themes of Greek and international gastronomy and helping us learn more about the modern gastronomic scene.
This year's Athens Gastronomy Days will take place at the Pireos Street Annex of the Benaki Museum. The entire organization will include several exhibitions, screenings and events, which will open on May 22nd and last until May 24th, 2015. Visitors are offered a unique holistic experience of tasting new flavours and delicacies, produced by leading professionals of the Greek gastronomy and several local producers.
Athens Gastronomy Days will present authentic flavours from modern Greek and international cuisine, giving special attention to the Peloponnesian tradition. Every year at Athens Gastronomy Days, the organizers declare an Honored Destination in Greece to be represented and promoted in the various activities of the event. This year's honoured location is the Region of Peloponnese, so visitors will have the splendid opportunity to learn about the Peloponnesian culinary profile and try some of its most representative specialties.
The interactive presentations and the interesting exhibitions will be further complemented by the impressive Athens International Culinary Film Festivals (AICFF), during which visitors will have the opportunity to watch films and documentaries about gastronomic cultures.
