Ancient Greece: The Exhibition
The Ancient Greece Exhibition was inaugurated at the Olympic Center in Goudi, Athens on October 5th, 2024. Organized by Placebo Events in collaboration with the Thessaloniki International Trade Fair, the exhibition is directed by Sotiris Tsafoulias and curated by accomplished historian and academic Thanos Veremis. This spectacular presentation takes visitors on a journey through ancient Greek culture and mythology via a one-of-a-kind interactive experience.
Hosted in an area of 1.5000 square meters, the Ancient Greece Exhibition is an impressive production with captivating displays and beautiful visual effects. It is divided into 8 different sections, each shining a literal and metaphorical light on a specific aspect of Ancient Greece. Visitors can learn about the origins of Ancient Greece, its cities/states, its arts and culture, philosophy, sciences and inventions, and mythology, amongst others. Stunning statues, household items, ancient relics, weapons, and armor are just some of the items showcased.
What is more, the exhibition includes an impressive ancient throne that provides guests with some wonderful photo opportunities. The Ancient Greece Exhibition also organizes educational programs for students of all ages, led by a specialized guide.
