31st Athens Classic Marathon

Only 12 days are left for the 31st Athens Classic Marathon, that will take place on Sunday, November 10th this year. As normally, the 40 km race will start at 09:00 am from the Marathon Start Venue and will finish in the Panathenaic Stadium in the centre of Athens. Parallel races include 5km road race, 10km road race, power walking, kids race and 1,000m Special Olympics race.

Like every year, the Athens Classic Marathon is dedicated to the Greek politician, physician and field athlete Gregoris Lambrakis, who marched alone the banned Marathon-Athens Peace Rally in April 1963, one month before his assassination.
