29th Athens Classic Marathon

For another year, the Hellenic Athletics Federation is organizing the 29th Athens Classic Marathon on November 13th, 2011. Deadline for registrations is on Monday, October 10th, and races include Marathon Race, 5km Road Race, 10km Road Race and Power Walking. The 42km race starts at 9:00 am from Marathon, north east of Athens, and ends at the Panathenaic Stadium, in the centre of the town.

Volunteers will help a lot in the organization of this event providing useful educational material, uniforms, equipment and certificates to participants. This year's race is expected to attract thousands of visitors and especially a large number of foreign runners.
