18th Festival of French-speaking Cinema

The French Institute of Athens proudly hosts for the 18th year in a row the much-anticipated festival of French-speaking cinema. From the 23rd to 29th of March, the Institute invites us to dive into the mesmerizing world of movies. With the participation of numerous French-speaking countries such as Canada, Tunisia, Belgium etc. and an ever-updated program, the Festival manages to keep challenging itself constantly.
This year’s main theme is that of music; visitors thus will have the opportunity to choose screenings from a selected filmography that centers around the presence of music in film, as well as the fruitful combination of the two. There will also be parallel events, such as live performances and masterclasses on relevant subjects, to provide a wider exploration of this inviting relationship.
