16th Athens Technopolis Jazz Festival

Then the 16th Athens Technopolis Jazz Festival is a unique happening for you.
This year, Technopolis in Gazi along with the Onassis Cultural Centre will be successfully organising the 16th Athens Technopolis Jazz Festival from the 25th until the 29th of May 2016.
Located in the heart of Athens, in the fancy area of Gazi, Technopolis is an enclosed cultural space comprised of various rooms and a plane yard, that host many events and music festivals every year. The Venue has also hosted important art exhibitions and fairs while the open space and eloquent architecture makes you want to wander and explore around.
Until the year of 2013, the festival was under the name of European Jazz Festival but after this year, the name has been broadened to Athens Technopolis Jazz Festival.
This year, the festival will be welcoming more than 18 music groups including jazz, soul and Afropop artists from Europe and all over the world along with parallel actions. Artists that will be appearing this year, include Athens Big Band, Momo Trio, Hidden Orchestra and the Naoko Sakata Trio.
Admission is guaranteed to be free of charge every year, since the festival organisers and supporters advocate that festivals should not only aim at financial profit.
