The Artist is a hotel inspired by the lively atmosphere of Athens, full of music, street art and interesting people mingling with each other. Its goal is for guests to experience this unique side of the city through art in an urban setting right in the heart of Athens. It combines an excellent location with all the modern amenities and is situated in the Psiri area, in an industrial building that used to house graffiti artists, nearby several cultural and historical sites, restaurants, cafes, bars and central public transport stations.
Accommodation The hotel offers rooms and suites that accommodate two to three visitors. They showcase a modern, minimal design in earthy tones and provide views of the Acropolis, the city, or the park. The private bathrooms are equipped with a shower, towels, slippers, a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. Other amenities include free Wi-Fi, a TV, a minibar, air-conditioning and a refrigerator.
Facilities On the hotel’s roof, guests will find a bar - restaurant where they can dine under the Athenian sky and with a magnificent view of the Acropolis. It serves gourmet dishes of Greek and international cuisines, as well as drinks and signature cocktails, as it stays open until late at night. On the ground floor lies the wine and beer bar of the Artist. Apart from a wide variety of beers and wines, it offers street food and quick bites prepared with fresh Greek ingredients, creating delicious combinations. Furthermore, there is a beautiful indoor yard on the first floor, accessible only by the guests of the hotel.
Experiences The Artist organizes interesting cooking classes to familiarize participants with traditional Greek recipes and flavors. They are conducted by a professional chef and include dishes such as mousakas, tzatziki and spanakopita (spinach pie). All guests receive a portfolio of the recipes by the end of the lesson to take back home. Furthermore, visitors have the opportunity to take part in wine and beer tasting, which will take them on a journey through unique tastes from Greek producers and breweries. Beer tasting also includes learning how to pair street food with each beer, as well as beer cocktails.
