Location: Glyfada Beach

Balux is a cosmopolitan cafe club located on the beachfront of Glyfada, a suburb on the south of Athens. This fine place of entertainment provides a restaurant, a bar, garden, playroom, library, TV room and generally all the rooms of a house.

The restaurant serves delicious and creative dishes from the Mediterranean cuisine as well as experimental dishes from a talented French chef. During the day you can relax by the swimming pool and the shimmering sea or stay inside the lounge area or even play games or watch your favorite TV program.

Around midday, the music gets louder and people are gathered around the pool. As time passes, the party turns wilder with strong cocktails and music beats. The sandy beach in front of Balux is covered is covered with sundecks and umbrellas, creating a comfortable atmosphere that goes on till the next morning. Balux is an interesting meeting point where many people of different cultures become one. It can host special events and occasions since it occupies a vast area.

    Actually like a house
A nice large cafe that actually has the design of a house, with a garden of lawn, library selves, room with TV, study desks with computers and a very large balcony right on the beach. Service was good and quick, but as expected prices are a bit high than normal. Large parking space and easy to access by public means also. The best thing was the view, especially at the sunset.

A firey red sun going down the sea in a pink-orange background, amazing! Sit outside (if you find a table). On Sunday and Saturday evenings, it is packed. I liked that the chairs and tables vary in design, there were chairs like large cushions on the floor, small colourful chairs for children and even sunbeds on the beach were used by guests to have a coffee. The beach had very soft sand and the water seemed shallow. Lounge pleasant music.
