Named after the small chapel of Agios Nikolaos, Agios Nikolaos beach is situated very close to Anavyssos, around 40 kilometers away from the city of Athens.

Although the beach can be approached by bus, it is highly recommended to get there by car and a spacious car parking area is also available.

Agios Nikolaos has a sandy seashore and teal sea waters, while the area around the beach is covered with greenery, making the landscape resemble that of an island.
There are beach bars that offer sunbeds, as well as a large unorganized beach part.
