Athens Loutsa beach (Artemis)

General information

Loutsa Beach in Athens: Loutsa, mostly known as Artemis/Artemidos Beach, is one of the most well-known, sand-filled seashores in the region of Attica, featuring soft, coarse sand along its lengthy coast! Stretching for over three kilometers, the shore has staggered-depth seabed and clear waters, attracting families with children, surfers, swimming lovers, and snorkelers alike! Famous for its coniferous background, Artemis Beach also boasts many trees near the sea waters, providing some natural shade!

The coast of Artemis in Loutsa is a well-organized beach destination due to its abundance of sunbed pairs and straw umbrellas for rent, even though some spots remain untouched. On top of that, one will encounter plenty of showering facilities, changing booths, restaurants, taverns, beachside bars, and a lifeguard tower, whereas young visitors can spend their time alternating between the sea waters and the nearby playground facilities! Plus, Loutsa is relatively close to the center of Athens, and one can also arrive here by bus!
