The Museum of Popular Art and Tradition "Angeliki Hatzimichali" is located in Plaka, Athens, in the house of the great folklorist Angeliki Hatzimichali. It was established in 1980 and has been welcoming visitors ever since.

The building, which is a monument of Modern Greek Architecture, is the work of the architect Aristotelis Zachos. The interior decoration has been accomplished by popular artisans and represents a creation of exceptionally high aesthetics.

The spaces of the museum are home to a collection that features folk art items with works of pottery, woodcarving and metalwork. In addition, carpets made by looms, embroidery and traditional costumes are also exhibited.
