What to say about Volos! A wonderful city combining sea and mountains.
You should walk all the way through Volos port. A very open city. I like all these cafeterias and tavernas that are in a row at the port, from where you can attend the sea and the sunset. And as an alternative you could easily visit Pelion with all these picturesque and famous villages, like Portaria and Milies or it's ski center on top of it.
