Pelion Villages: Pouri village in Pelion Pouri village Pelion: After Zagora and the amazing Kalokairinou gorge is the beautiful village of Pouri. Built on three levels, the village square is calm and fresh. The main church of the village is the 19th century basilica of Agios Dimitrios. A further outside the village are the ruins of the 13th century Byzantine monastery of Panagia Rassova.Outside Pouri, the road used to continue until the heroic village of Palia Mitzela, completely destroyed by the Turks during the revolutionary movements of Pelion.
