The building's primary architectural design has been preserved since 1957, when it was built. The hotel's renovation was completed by the spring of 2000, and aims to offer its guests a sense of cosiness and luxury. The north ground wing of the hotel was expanded in 1961 by the creation of a semi-open air bar. A heated pool and a pool bar was added to the south part of the hotel in 2000. During the same period the hotel was wholly refurnished and redecorated and the indoor spaces were rearranged in a way that enables our guests to feel comfortable and enjoy their stay during our enviable winter period as well. The hotel has twin-bedded rooms and apartments each of which has its own shower cabin. All the rooms are named after a basic colour that vividly describes and refers to the rich colour palette dominating Mt Pelion. The beds in each room are extra double with anatomically designed mattresses and fabric lining. The rooms are decorated with handmade glass lamps a fact that reflects that every single detail has been taken care of. The ground floor hosts all the common use areas including the reception lounge, the winter restaurant and the main lounge, the kitchen, the main bar, the garden restaurant and finally the pool and the pool bar. All public areas have smooth lighting, are spacious and are arranged in a way that clearly promotes a style that combines the traditional with the modern in the most witty way. All the rooms are situated on the upper floor and overlook the garden restaurant. Each room has its special defining colour and is furnished with an extra double bed, which has an anatomically designed mattress, fabric lining, and a shower cabin. The hotel's common areas are characterized by a sense of harmonious balance. The dinning room, the reception hall, the garden and finally the pool are all components of a carefully constructed common area meant to meet your needs and constantly be at your service. Each component (area) is equipped with the appropriate materials and furniture so as to suit the requirements of the modern guest for relaxed luxury and functionality. Our experienced chef prepares homemade dishes served either at the garden tables or in the winter restaurant, by the fireplace, depending on the season. Delicacies inspired from international as well as from traditional Greek cuisine are always prepared in a homemade way with pure, fresh and homegrown ingredients in order to ensure the best gastronomic outcome possible. The managers personally bear the responsibility to take care of the wine list very carefully, by selecting each and every year the finest and the most rich favored wines, the majority of which are produced by small-scale wine makers from all over Greece. You can also try our own local wine, which is bottled by us every year, under our own initiative, where we aim to ensure that Pelion's grapes and wine will reach and stimulate your taste. By the pool you will find a well-organized pool bar facility operating from 10:00 am until late at night. At this nice spot, where the element of water is apparently dominant, you can have and enjoy anything from our long list of goods either at the cafe tables or alternatively on the deck-chairs under the shade of the pool umbrellas. Tsipouro (a strong Greek spirit made of grapes and spices) should always be your first choice to wash down your food. Besides, it is very popular in Volos as well. By the splendid garden you will find the semi-open air bar. The main feature of this area is the chestnut colours which give out warmth in combination with the basic elements of the Pelion's nature, timber and stone. During the winter, large double-glass windows keep out the cold wind, while at the same time you can enjoy the view from the window without anything blocking or restricting it. In the main bar you can spend pleasantly the night hours in the company of a drink or a cocktail and the sounds of selected or live music.
