The complex was built in 1989 by its owner, an architect. It stands on the site of an old olive press which belonged to the owner's family, in the centre of Horefto, 20 metres from the sea. The original philosophy underlying the design of the complex was to construct dwellings for 2 to 5 individuals - simple, functional and built to high aesthetic standards - which would give the visitor the sense that he is not staying in a conventional hotel but rather in a more intimate setting, hospitable and designed with its own individual sense of aesthetics.

In the stunning mountainous village of Tsagarada, which is one of the most famous in Pelion, you will find "Diakoumis". During the summer you can go to the famous beaches of Milopotamos and Fakistras, with their blue crystal waters, or enjoy long walks around scenes of nature with running streams and arched bridges. Diakoumis consists of 15 rooms, studios and apartments.

Our two-storeyed maisonettes are beautifully decorated and comfortable. Each maisonette consists of the first floor being a fully equipped kitchen, with a fridge, cooker. On the first floor is also a sitting room and a living room with a fireplace. Winter time in Pelion is beautiful sitting by the fireplace is a relaxing way to warm yourselves up from the cold winters. On the second floor of the maisonette, there are two bedrooms, and a bathroom, with shower. Xenios is composed of 10 apartments-Studios and rooms on the first and second floor of two-storied buildings, in a garden with citrus-fruits and flowers. They are composed of autonomous areas and independent roofed verandas which view towards the garden and the bright-green from the olive-trees slopes of the mountain.
