Ferry to Pelion

There is no ferry from Athens to Pelion. Mount Pelion can be accessed only by bus or car. The closest port to Pelion is Volos that serves ferries to the Sporades islands, particularly to Skiathos (2 hours), Skopelos (2, 5 hours) and Alonissos (3-3,5 hours). The only port of Pelion is Platanias, on the southern side of the peninsula, that works only in summer and serves local ferries to Skiathos island.
