More about: Larisa
Ayia (Agia) is 30km east of Larisa. Is a scenic town with old history, many interest buildings and small roads for walking around. You can admire nature and plenty of flowers at very clean and beautiful yards. Also around and near to town is many small churches and very much of vert.
Try a pick-nick (spring time) at Agioi Anargiroi, riverside, under huge platan trees, out of road to Agiokampos, you will never forget!
Also Ayia is popular for apples and cherries bearing. Two festivals take place there. In beginning of September at Ayia, Ag.Antonios festive and in middle of May at contiguous village Metaxohori cherries festive, both with artistic events and food in local taverns.
