Those who have a sweet-tooth shouldn’t leave Nafpaktos without buying the delicious honey, the traditional Halva, while those who like dairy products must taste the famous “feta” and the natural yoghurt.
Regarding olive oil, this quality natural product famous all over Greece is also excellent in Nafpaktos. The olive oil industry has a long history and an essential role in the economy and the social and cultural development of the area. With such a good weather, it is no wonder that olive trees grow high and strong in Nafpaktos - they grow pretty easily here and their oil is considered one of the best in the world.
