A tiny lovely town

Nafpaktos is a lovely, tiny town. We spend just a couple of days there last month in a traditional, stone-made hostel. There weren't many tourists because it wasn't a peak season, but we had a nice time walking along the narrow pavements and drinking coffee in the square with the huge pine tree. The first day we arrived it was raining and the hostel owner served us hot chicken soup to get warm. I also loved the spinach pie we ate in a tavern close to the port and asked for the recipe. The people of Nafpaktos were truly friendly.
