Is worth a visit

Arachova Review:
Visiting a very good Greek friend of mine in Athens last winter, we decided to go to for a day trip to Arachova for skiing. We arrived there by car, it lasted only about two hours and the trip to the mountain Parnassos was really fun. I was so excited when I first saw the village, it is beautiful with all these traditional houses and little roads climbing on the mountain slop! It was full of people, the main road was crowded by cars and visitors, as it was December and high-season. We had a great time on the snow, all the winter sports are available and a very good equipment. Afterwards we were so hungry, we went to a tavern and had this delicious dish 'kontosouvli', grilled meat. I recommend also to try one of these traditional sweets with syroup that you will find in sweetshops along the main road - really tempting! One thing I found annoying was the traffic in the getting in and out of the village and the car parcking was difficult,too, but I thing the place is worth a visit.
