The Byzantine church of Agios Georgios is built on top of a hill overlooking the town. Many stairs lead to this church, which is dedicated to the protector saint of Arachova.

Church Of Agios Ioannis
A small church with traditional style, Agios Ioannis has many interesting frescoes inside. The architecture is different than normal churches in the area.

The ski centres of Parnassos are the most popular close to Athens and get very busy in winter. There visitors can practise skiing, snowboarding and many other winter sports. The three ski centres are located in a distance of 10 to 30 km from Arachova.
The National Park of Mount Parnassos was created in 1938 and covers an area of 36 million sq.m. It is a nice area for trekking and birdwatching, found close to Arachova and Delphi.
Located at a distance of 10 km from Arachova, the Corycian Cave, also known as Sarantavli, is plenty of stalactites and stalagmites. According to ancient geographer Pausanias, it was used as a temple devoted to the worshipping of the god Pan and the Nymphs.
